Very rarely, a Wild Digimon will drop a Mercenary DigiEgg, which is distinctly marked with an aura and named after the Digimon that dropped it (e.g. "Guilmon DigiEgg"). This DigiEgg can be used in the [[hatching]] of a Mercenary Digimon, if supplied with enough DATA.

When scanned, the DigiEgg is consumed while giving player a high chance of acquiring a desirable [[Digicore]] or [[Data]].

== Events and Cash Shop Mercenary DigiEgg ==
Mercenary DigiEggs can also be bought at the Cash Shop with real money and they are 100% hatchable with at least a minimum of 3rd phase reached. Players can choose a specific Digimon Mercenary DigiEgg that they like, then a DigiEgg level of 3, 4 or 5 will be determined randomly after scanning it. The final DigiEgg obtained will have the following info: Name of Digimon, DigiEgg Level, as well as the maximum Evolution Stage that has been unlocked, and it will be ready for [[hatching]].

[[Mystery Mercenary DigiEgg]], [[Mystery Mercenary DigiEgg - Alpha]] and [[Mystery Mercenary DigiEgg - Beta|Mystery Mercenary DigiEgg- Beta]] are available in Cash Shop as well as some events. For example, during daily connection event, players need to log in for a specific amount of time in order to collect event coins, which in turn can be exchanged for these DigiEggs and other items.
